PCPG Tuition Reduction Funds

PCPG is actively seeking to include a broader and more diverse range of participants in our membership and in all PCPG educational programs, including the PCPG Intensive Study Program. We have established two tuition reduction funds: The PCPG DEI Tuition Reduction Fund for licensed therapists who self-identify as a person of color and The Dr. Jacquie Ward Memorial Grant for licensed therapists who self-identify as having substantial financial need.

These funds are available to qualified applicants, including PCPG members, for any of our educational programs including our Intensive Study program in Psychoanalytic Couple Psychotherapy, our Annual Psychoanalytic Couple Psychotherapy Lecture, or any of our other educational offerings.

A tuition credit of up to a maximum of $1,000 per year may be granted for participants in the PCPG Intensive Study Program. Tuition assistance may be granted for 50% of registration fees for all other PCPG programming, including the Annual Psychoanalytic Couple Psychotherapy Lecture and any other educational offerings. Applicants may apply to one or both funds, as appropriate, but each applicant may only be granted a total tuition credit of up to a maximum of $500 per year, or $1,000 per year for applicants to the Intensive Study Program, to be determined by fund availability.

To apply, please click the button below to fill out the Tuition Reduction Application Form with a brief (250 words or less) description of how you self-identify as a person of color and/or as having substantial financial need, and anything else you want to say about yourself. It will be submitted directly to our administrator, Niki Clay.

For applicants to the PCPG Intensive Study Program, submit your application for tuition reduction at the same time as your application to the PCPG Intensive Study Program (due date March 31, 2025). Applicants will be notified about the amount of tuition reduction granted by June 1. Applications for tuition reduction for all other programs are due at the same time as registration. They will be reviewed as received, and will be allocated as long as funds remain available. All applications will be kept strictly confidential and considered separately from any application to a PCPG program.

Family members, Officers, and Directors of the PCPG Board, major contributors, and members of the selection committee are disqualified from receiving these funds.
